Yes, it’s the sponge with the face. Yes, it’s all over TikTok. But the temperature trick is real: run it under cold water and it’s a stiff, aggressive scrubber for stuck-on food; switch to warm and it goes soft enough for delicate glassware. Two sponges in one, and it never scratches nonstick coating — we tried hard to make it scratch and failed.
The shape turns out to be functional too. The eye holes grip fork and knife handles so you can clean both sides in one pass, and the smile curve matches the bowl of a spoon. Dumb-sounding, genuinely useful.
The honest knock is value: you pay noticeably more per sponge than a generic six-pack, and Amazon is riddled with lookalikes that don’t change texture at all. Stick to the official listing. Also, unlike cellulose sponges it doesn’t absorb much — it’s a scrubber, not a spill-mopper. Know what you’re buying and it’s excellent at it.
