The surface is 3D-printed layer by layer from NASA-style topographic data, so the craters have actual depth — run a finger over it and you feel the ridges, not a printed picture pretending to be texture.

Sixteen colors sounds like a gimmick until you use the remote: warm white for reading-in-bed vibes, a deep red that makes the whole room feel like a darkroom, and a slow fade mode that cycles through everything. Touch control on the base handles on/off and brightness, and the timer shuts it off after you fall asleep, which is the whole point of a bedside moon.

Being rechargeable is the sleeper feature. Lift it off the little wooden stand and it goes anywhere — dinner table centerpiece, tent lantern, bath-side ambiance. Just know the battery math: around four hours at full blast, so if you want it glowing all night, either dim it or leave it plugged in.
