GoXLR Mini

The GoXLR Mini is the piece of kit that made streamer audio look easy. Four motorized faders sit under your fingers — mic, music, game, chat, whatever you assign — and you ride them live instead of alt-tabbing to a software mixer mid-raid. When you switch scenes, the faders physically move to your saved levels, which never stops being satisfying.

The audio side earns its keep too. The Midas-designed preamp has enough clean gain to run an SM7B without a Cloudlifter, the sampler pads handle stingers and sound effects, and the voice FX (reverb, pitch, megaphone, robot) are gimmicky until the exact moment they’re the funniest thing on your stream. Routing is the quiet killer feature: what your audience hears, what you hear, and what Discord hears are three separate mixes.

The honest caveats are real. The control app is Windows-only — not “Windows-first,” Windows-only, so Mac and Linux streamers should stop reading here. And TC-Helicon’s supply has been spotty for years, which means the Mini is frequently out of stock and third-party sellers charge accordingly. If your setup is one mic and a quiet room, this is a very expensive volume knob. But if you juggle multiple audio sources live, nothing else at the size does what it does.
