Most webcam lighting advice boils down to ‘buy a big softbox and a stand,’ which is great until you measure your desk. The Litra Glow is the opposite pitch: a pocket-sized panel that clips to the top of your monitor, sips power from a USB-C port, and disappears into your setup until you need it.
The reason it works is the diffusion. Logitech’s TrueSoft frame spreads the LEDs into a genuinely soft source, so you get that wrapped, flattering look instead of the deer-in-headlights glare cheap ring lights produce. Color temperature runs from a warm 2700K to a cool 6500K, brightness and temp have physical buttons on the back, and it remembers your settings between sessions. For calls and streams shot at arm’s length, it makes a bigger visible difference than upgrading a midrange webcam.
The honest caveat: 250 lumens is not a lot of light. In a bright room during the day it’s a perfect fill; in a dark room at night, it flatters your face but can’t carry the scene alone — pair it with some ambient light or step up to a bigger panel. And the short captive cable means it lives on your monitor, not wherever you’d ideally aim it from. If your expectations match the size, though, it’s the easiest lighting upgrade in streaming.
